Drawn Forever exists as an ideas place for people like me who still know how to do all aspects of 2D animation and will continue to do so. I had no choice but to embraced the many technical changes that has happened in the business over the years like working on computers and learning the various animation software and communication programs in order to stay employed and relevant. Yet, this is not a portfolio website to get another mainstream animation gig job. Instead I’ve created Drawn Forever as a place to showcase the characters I’ve created and stories I want to tell. Animated content for television, film and new media  has been my whole life and the time has come for the world to realize that I’ve got ideas too and to finally showcase who I am, what I can do and hear my voice.

About Me

I have been in the industry for many years. My childhood was spent watching the classics—Disney, Warner Bros, Hanna-Barbera, Jay Ward, Total Television, Rankin-Bass, Mushi Productions. At a young age, I knew I wanted to make cartoons and  to work at the studios where all my favorite cartoons were created.

I started  as a cel-painter, working for Don Bluth Studios and then Hanna-Barbera. Since then I’ve worked in most of the major positions in the animation field: I’ve worked as an Assistant Animator, Cleanup Artist, Prop Designer, Character Designer, Character Layout Artist and Storyboard Artist.

I have been blessed with many high points in my career, including working for Warner Bros. Animation on the original Tiny Toon Adventures and numerous other Looney Tunes projects.

Another stylistic turn saw me working on Ren and Stimpy for Games Animation (now known as Nickelodeon), The Shnookums and Meat Funny Cartoon Show and Around the World With Timon and Pumbaa for Disney Television Animation.

Several other highlights have been Family Guy’s first and second seasons, The Simpsons and God, the Devil and Bob.

Each one of those projects truly taught me to think differently, break animation norms and really push my drawing skill and styles.

An additional high point was being interviewed for Keyframe Magazine with several other talented individuals, the subject being artists who had the “Secrets to a Fulfilling Career”.

I started out as one of a select few women of color working as an animation artist, and though the animation hill has been steep at times, I have very much enjoyed the climb.

Recently I was given the opportunity to create my own cartoon short for a brand new installment of Cartoon Network’s Cartoon Cartoons shorts program. I see this as the next step in the evolution of a fun-filled and exciting career.

My passion to create, direct, and bring my stories to life is stronger than ever. My aim is to deliver laughter and joy to audiences through entertaining and memorable work.
